Yesterday, we captured the essence of Australian progressive rock and today, we fast forward five years and find Australian pop at its finest.
Sherbet had been on the scene for a number of years but the Howzat album and title track became their biggest success and as it turned out, arguably, their pinnacle. The album contained a number of other tracks that brought some success – Hollywood Dreaming and If I Had My Way amongst them.
Like many other great songs, Howzat has very distinctive introduction which is instantly recognisable – probably part of the reason for its success. Another Aussie classic!
