The opening line of probably my favourite Mentals song. It wouldn’t be a real 1980s countdown if Greedy and the boys weren’t involved. This song had the added advantage of a video clip that couldn’t be any more Aussie suburbia if it tried!
Filmed in the southern suburbs of Sydney, the lads basically walk the entire length of a suburban street whilst singing what amounts to a typical Mental As Anything song – slightly quirky but really enjoyable.
What an important role they played in the Aussie music scene in the 1980’s!
